Ein 3 Minuten langes Video über die Sehenswürdigkeiten von London. Darunter ein kleines Quiz zum Hörverstehen. Ich persönlich finde die Hintergrundsmusik für einen Hörverstehenstest etwas störend, ansonsten nett gemacht. Man kann es auch über youtube ansehen, dann allerdings ohne Quiz. Dort findet man, wenn man auf den Namen des "Hochladers" klickt, eine Playlist mit netten kurzen Videos über andere britische Städte: Manchester, Hull, Brighton, etc. SEK I

Im Rahmen einer Seminararbeit habe ich ein Webquest zum Thema "Sightseeing in London" erstellt. Es ist gedacht für die Sek. I.
Meinem Professor hat es gut gefallen, nur kam ich leider noch nicht dazu, es in der Praxis zu erproben.
Deshalb würde es mich umso mehr freuen, wenn es jemand von euch für seinen/ihren Unterricht gebrauchen könnte. Für Fragen und Anregungen stehe ich gerne zur Verfügung :-)

You can point at a marked memorial on the London map. If you click on it, you will get more information. The authors' aim is to capture all the memorials in London. So far they have found 7433 subjects (people, events, etc.) on 1802 memorials, at 1401 sites.

With the end of the Olympics in Beijing, all eyes turned for a moment to London, site of the upcoming 2012 Summer Olympics. While looking for good photographs of London, I was contacted by London photographer Jason Hawkes, who had some wonderful images of London, seen from above at night (from a helicopter, to be exact) - some of which which he's agreed to let me share here. From Jason: "Shooting aerial photography during the daytime had its own difficulties, you are strapped tightly into a harness leaning out of the helicopter, shouting directions through the headsets to the pilot. If shooting in the day can be difficult, night and the lack of light causes its own set of problems, but overcoming them is half the fun and the results can be stunning. I shoot at night using the very latest digital cameras, mounted on either one or two gyro stablazied mounts, depending on the format of the camera and length of lens I'm having to use." (19 photos total)
