this is really simple and interesting. very often we get carried away in problem solving.keep it simple and move on. i`m sure a number of us coud learn from this....
when NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they found out that the pens wouldn`t work at zero gravity. in order to solve this problem they hired Andersen Consulting( Accenture today).
it took them one decade and 12 million dollars. they developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside down, under water, on practically any surface includin crystal and in temperature range from below freezing to over 300 degrees C.

After numerous rounds of "We don't even know if Osama is still alive" on TV, Osama himself decided to send George Bush a letter in his own handwriting to let him know he was still in the game.
Bush opened the letter and it appeared to contain a single line of coded message:

Bush was baffled, so he e-mailed it to Condi Rice. Condi and her aides had not a clue either, so they sent it to the FBI. No one could solve it at the FBI, so it went to the CIA, then to the NSA.

Eventually they asked Britain's MI-6 for help. Within a minute MI-6 cabled the White House with this reply:

"Tell the President he's holding the message upside down."

P.S. was ist eigentlich "MI-6"?

Habe das selbst als mail bekommen und mich vor dem Bildschirm verrenkt
Ich dachte ja schon, es müsse MI5 heißen und das wäre sowas Richtung James Bond, Geheimdienst ihrer Majestät.

Jetzt habe ich mein Wörterbuch befragt und das sagt : MI5 = britische Spionageabwehr
MI6 = britischer Nachrichtendienst.
Mehr sagt's nicht, also warum oder so. Das ganze wird mit einem "coll." als umgangssprachlich bezeichnet.
Hab' ich auch wieder was gelernt.
