I want to interpretate a cover of the time newspaper. On the cover you could see the title named Time. The atmosphere is very exciting and mysterious. On the cover you could see many people who stand near a mother and her child. The mother sits in the middle of the room and prays with most of the other persons in the room. On the left side of the cover you could see a young boy who plays the flute. Another man standing a little bit more in the front prays and looks to the infant. In the near of this man are two kids with a dog also standing near of the mother. On the right side you could see two old men the one looks like a farmer and the other like an orphan. In the background you could see also lots of people which pray or talk together. The important thing is that all people who are in this room which looks like a barn look to the mother with the baby who is illuminated. The baby lies on an old cloth on a straw bale and the mother kneel in front of him. I think that this cover describes the situation after the birth of Jesus. All people are there to see the small infant who should change all. All people who pray hope that the child could change there bad conditions. Someone plays a flute to make the baby doing sleeping. The illustration is produced like a drawing because it should show that this situation was very long time ago. The persons who live at this time are very old clothed and are very poor. The conditions are very bad because you dont have bed or a baby carriage. The drawing underlines the impress of the dirty conditions. All in all I think that the baby plays a very important role on this cover. It is in the middle of the drawing and the only one who is illuminated. The small article on the cover Secrets of the Nativity should make the reader being interested in this topic. All persons who are religious want to know most about it and so they want to buy it.

On the Marlboro advertisement you could see a landscape which is untouched of humans. In the front is a small forest and in the background you could see cowboy on a horse. The trees are all birches and are very big. All is very white because of the snow and the trees. The cowboy is very young and sits on the horse with the rope. The landscape is beautiful and very nice. If you see this advertising you would like to be at this place to relax. On the left side is the slogan Tobacco seriously damages health. The very nice and beautiful landscape is a symbol for the health and if you smoke then you destroy this very beautiful landscape and this isnt good for you and your body. The illustration is a picture because only a picture could show this beautiful landscape like an untouched nature.
